Primary Savings

To become a member of Health Care Family Credit Union, you must open a Share (Savings) Account with a minimum $5 deposit. HCFCU Share Accounts function as a traditional passbook-type account, and earn quarterly interest on a $250 minimum average balance.

Regular savings accounts are the cornerstone of sound financial management.

We are a consistent leader in savings account rates. Plus, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the strongest deposit-insuring agency of the federal government, and the Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), insure members’ savings to $500,000. There is no safer place to invest your money than HCFCU. With Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction, you can have as many thrift savings accounts as you want! Deposit as much as you want as often as you want and watch your savings grow toward each of your goals – furniture, a house down payment, college, travel, gifts – the possibilities are endless!
